Privacy Policy
Social Connector is a companion app that securely links your phone to your Social Connector workspace, so the engagement activity you set up in your workspace can run reliably. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what happens to it — in plain English.
What the app collects and why
- Account details — your workspace sign-in (email address), to connect the app to your account.
- Device connectivity state — network type (Wi-Fi/cellular), battery level and charging state, and app status. Sent periodically so your workspace can show whether your phone is connected and pause activity when it isn't.
- Push notification token — so your workspace can send the app connection and activity notifications.
- Social account session credentials — stored encrypted on your device using the Android Keystore. They are used to keep your own social account connected to your workspace and are not shared with third parties.
What the app does not do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No sale of personal data, and no sharing of personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
- No collection of contacts, photos, precise location, or browsing history.
Network relay
To keep your social account session consistent and secure, the app maintains an encrypted tunnel between your phone and your workspace. Traffic for your own account activity passes through this tunnel. The tunnel is active only while you are signed in and connected.
Where data lives
Workspace data is processed and stored on Google Cloud / Firebase infrastructure. Session credentials remain encrypted on your device. Connectivity telemetry is retained only as long as needed to operate the service.
Your choices
- Disconnecting the app from your workspace stops all collection and disables the tunnel.
- Uninstalling the app removes on-device credentials.
- You can request deletion of your workspace data at any time using the contact below.
